On behalf of the International Sunflower Association (ISA), we are pleased to announce that the 21st International Sunflower Conference (ISC) will be held in Bayannur, China, from August 20-24, 2024.
The 21st ISC will be a 5-day conference consisting of plenary talks, scientific and industry workshops, and poster sessions.Topics of interest include Genetics and Breeding, Genomics and Biotechnology, Biotic Stress and Abiotic Stress, Crop Production and other fields of the entire sunflower industry chain. We believe that this event will strengthen the global scientific sunflower community, as well as demonstrate the dynamic changes and significant accomplishments of the confection sunflower industry in China.
Although there has been only a two-year window for organizing the conference due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizers are continually dedicated to the conference preparation to make the 21st ISC truly successful. We believe that your attendance will make a significant contribution to the success of this event. We warmly welcome you to join us at 21st ISC and look forward to hosting you in Bayannur, an attractive scenic city along the Yellow River

China has decided to apply unilateral visa-free policy to more countries on a trial basis, which involves extending visa-free treatment to travelers holding ordinary passports from six countries, namely France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia. From December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024, citizens from the above-mentioned countries holding ordinary passports can be exempted from visa to enter China and stay for no more than 15 days for business, tourism, family visit and transit purposes.

From 0:00 on March 14, 2024 to 24:00 on November 30, 2024 Beijing time, citizens holding Ireland, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg ordinary passports traveling to China for business, tourism, family visit or transit purposes with the duration not exceeding 15 days, are eligible for visa-free entry.
